The QCI‑CAT project is proud to announce that we will be presenting our Video Chat and HSM Backup use‑case demonstrations—developed in collaboration with AIT, CANCOM, and X‑Net—at the upcoming International Digital Security Forum (IDSF) 2025 in Vienna (June 4–6) idsf.io.
Visitors to our booth can look forward to seeing our compact, multi-node setup featuring the open‑source WireGuard VPN extension “Arnika.” This demo not only showcases quantum‑key‑protected HSM backup over a QKD‑enabled network but also the integration of QKD-generated keys into secure video conferencing sessions with combined post‑quantum encryption qkd-kms.ait.ac.at. Beyond hands‑on interactions, attendees will gain insight into key performance benchmarks—such as key request intervals of ~200 ms and minimal system resource usage—proving the robustness and practicality of our solutions qkd-kms.ait.ac.at.
Join us at IDSF to explore cutting‑edge quantum‑secured networking, engage with experts from public authorities, industry, and research, and discover how our QCI‑CAT demonstrators are advancing digital security, sovereignty, and trust in the quantum communication era.
