The QCI‑CAT project is delighted to announce its participation at ECOC 2024 in Frankfurt (22–26 September 2024), where it will join forces with PETRUS and other leading EuroQCI stakeholders to deliver a live, multi‑vendor Cross‑Domain QKD demonstration. Organized by PETRUS, the “Mini EuroQCI” showcase features three independent QKD domains—Spain, Germany, and Austria—powered by various QKD vendors and Key Management Systems, seamlessly integrated into a unified network
During the three days of demonstration, attendees will be able to experience quantum-secured video conferencing and a quantum lottery application, fully encrypted using keys exchanged across domains via interoperable protocols and encryption layers. The participation of QCI‑CAT and PETRUS aims to underscore the maturity and real-world readiness of EuroQCI technologies, showcasing how QKD systems can be interoperable, vendor-agnostic, and integrated into end-user applications.
Join us in experiencing how Europe’s quantum-secured infrastructure is taking shape—demonstrating not only technical interoperability and network scalability, but also a clear path toward quantum-secure communication services for critical infrastructure across Europe.
