Panel Invitation on “Shaping the Future of Quantum Computing & Post-Quantum Cryptography”

On October 18-19, within the context of the 5G Techritory Forum in Riga, Latvia, Christoph Striecks (AIT) participated in a panel discussion on “Shaping the Future of Quantum Computing & Post-Quantum Cryptography.” With 1667 participants from 77 countries and 146 speakers, the overall forum gathered experts, academics, as well as lawmakers.

Together with panelists from the Latvia State Radio and Television Center, the NATO CCD COE, the European Space Agency (ESA), and the University of Latvia, Mr. Striecks discussed current developments in quantum-key distribution (QKD) and post-quantum cryptography (PQC), among other topics.

Moreover, Mr. Striecks gave an invited talk on the national project QCI-CAT within the co-creation event “Embracing the Quantum Era” which also took place under the umbrella of the forum.
