On 26 February 2026, the QCI-CAT consortium hosted its final Stakeholder Event in Vienna, bringing together experts from research, industry and public administration. Excursion to the Optical Ground Station
Partners from the QCI-CAT consortium visited the new optical ground station on top of Hafelekar near Innsbruck.

AIT and fragmentiX participated at the IKT-Sicherheitskonferenz 2025 in Dornbirn and presented some of the results of the project to stakeholders from the Austrian cyber-security community.

The QCI-CAT demo team met to review the demos conducted at QCI-Days and to discuss the strenghts and weaknesses to further improve the demos for diverse targeted audiences.
IDSF 2025
Project partners of QCI-CAT presented the QKD-enabled WireGuard extension “Arnika” and the Video Chat use case at IDSF 2025 in Vienna.
